Stanford Hotel Hong Kong

Perfect location for first time in Hong Kong. There are many restaurants near by the Hotel. Room is clean and prices is reasonable fair. I would book this Hotel next time I visit Hong kong.

About 10 to 15 minutes walk to MTR train. It’s not a deal breaker but I want to mentioned.

Location , front desk staff very friendly , helpful .

Hotel room carpet is dirty especily under bed seems like long time no vacuum , Bathroom flooring not daily clean

Rooms are very small, no microwave oven, no forks or knifes provided, no drawers in room to put away things....... I am not going back!!!!!!!!!!!

Its location

Close and walking distance to shops, market and banking center. Station Mong kok also within this area. Decent hotel for short stays.

Almost nothing. It can be a hassle to get an elevator during peak times like breakfast. Breakfast variety is average. Rooms are very small but functional.

Good location. Easy walk to 2 MTR stations. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Only 2 elevator banks and not able to get in at busy hours. The buffet breakfast does not numerous choices.

If you are into venturing the local culture and local cuisine, this is the best place to stay. Night market and sneaker street is just around the corner and MTR Mong Kök East is just a few minutes away.

The staff are the typical locals, you can’t call them friendly but they are not that bad either. Just a culture difference

There is someone at front desk 24hrs, can pay for using laundry machines with octopus card, electrical outlet adapter by window plug

Rooms are small and dated, the air conditioning is loud, carpet in the room feels itchy, bathroom door doesn’t close completely, breakfast buffet left much to be desired

Thank you Stanford Hotel. Our HK Concert Trip was amazing and we enjoyed it so much. The hotel is walking distance from the stadium and nearby restaurants and markets. A good and decent place to stay and rest is cherry on top. The lobby hotel really smells nice and the attendant was helpful as they can also understand English. They were very helpful in giving us directions on how we can go to the hotel from the airport at dawn (bus information was given an estimated amount to pay) and they also allow us to keep our luggage after check out time, so we can still roam around Mongkok. They also help us hail a taxi going back to the airport. Kudos!

The only thing I didn't like is the smell of cigarettes from the hallway. We requested for a non-smoking room but it seems that the nearby rooms are a smoking area and they even open their doors when we pass by so the smell really is strong and awful. I think next time it will be best to separate the area of smokers and non-smokers and also they should not open their doors to avoid a similar situation.

The staff was friendly and the location is good.

The breakfast was terrible they need to change the chef asap , and the room was kinda small.

the rubbish bins should be cleared daily. As we were staying for 2 weeks, the rooms were cleaned only every 3/4 days and the rubbish accumulated. We had to ask one of the maids to throw away the rubbish after 2 daysthe bed sheets were a bit yellow due to age, gives a feeling of not very cleanthe breakfast tea bags were awful and I had to buy my ownthere should be more stirrers (for coffee/tea), and more coffee/chinese tea bags/better english tea bags, at least for the number of days between cleaning

Location very convenient for food and bus

Location is perfect. Close to MTR stations. Shops and restaurant just a few steps from hotel. Great choice for a business trip or shot visit.

Breakfast could be better. There wasn't enough food when the breakfast room was half full.

The cleaning lady was so nice.

The room’s door was so hard when it pushed to open. Front officers need to more polite.

The room is well cleaned and the cleaning staff are polite. Though you may have to walk a little from the MTR, it is surrounded with shops, food streets and cinemas which I love the convenience. I have stayed in this hotel more than 10 times at least.

Breakfast was included in our stay this time. We stayed 4 nights here. I must say breakfast is quite disappointing as the choice is very limited and food is always quite empty and not filled on time. There is also no change on the food items. I only managed to have porridge, bread and I did not even managed to get the fruits. Another feedback is on the lift which is quite slow and packed.

very good location, friendly staff, very clean, good value for the money, easy access to public transportation, plenty of stores/markets around, various local attractions, even churches nearby

central heating was not working (December), however they promptly provided a portable heater and this was no longer an issue during my stay; the fire alarm could go off when too much steam is detected from the shower - just make sure you read the rules that prevent this from happened (I did so and all went well)

Great location. Convenient and close to many eateries, shops and transportation.

It wound be great if there were filtered water dispensers for guests instead of having to purchase bottled water from stores.

Great location for what we wanted to do.

Rooms were small, not much room for luggage but ok. Breakfast wasn’t great.

Location is ok

No water in room. Need to boil water. Breakfast no improvement from last stay very basic.

They stole my small LV box with silk scarf. Forgot it on top of the bed and they claim there was nothing in the room.

They stole my LV head band. I bought it and forgot the box on the bed. The hotel claims nothing was left there. But my sister also remembered I left the box on the bed, but she assumed it empty. The place is a complete nightmare
